Chicken Tikka Massala is nice as a starter. The flavors of Indian spices and delicious garlic is a perfect starter.

Recipe for 4 people

Ingredients:

2 chicken fillets

3 tablespoons Greek yogurt

2 Tablespoons Tikka Massala Paste

1 tablespoon Garam Masala (Jonnie de Boer)

5 Cloves of Garlic

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 tablespoons crème fraîche

Vodka

Fresh Coriander

Fresh Parsley

Fresh Leaf Lettuce

1 cucumber

1 Jar Mango Chutney

4 Mini Naan Coriander Garlic Rolls

Satay sticks

Pepper

Salty

Preparation:

Take a bowl and add to it, Greek Yogurt, Tikka Massala Paste, Garam Massala and two cloves of finely chopped garlic. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces of 2 by 2 cm. You need 16 in total. Stir everything well and let it marinate for 24 hours in the refrigerator. For the garlic/cucumber sauce, put the mayonnaise, crème fraise, 3 finely chopped garlic cloves, finely chopped parsley and some small cubes of cucumber in a bowl and mix well. Finally, add a little vodka. Gives an extra boost. After 24 hours, the chicken fillet is nicely marinated and now preheat the oven to 230 degrees. Place the chicken fillet on a baking sheet and let it cook for 20 minutes. Check after 20 minutes whether they are cooked through. Toast the Naan bread in a toaster or let it cook in the oven for the last 2 minutes. Prick two pieces of chicken fillet on a skewer. Two per person. Take a nice bowl or plate and make a bed of lamb's lettuce and cucumber pieces. Add a little salt and pepper. Place the two skewers with chicken fillet on the bed of lettuce and spoon a good tablespoon of garlic/cucumber sauce over it. Then add 1 teaspoon of Mango Chutney and plenty of fresh coriander and your starter, together with the naan bread, can be served.

Enjoy your meal …
