Savory Puff Pastry Tart

Enjoy this Savory Puff Pastry Tart filled with Sweet Pear, Parma Ham, Gorgonzola Cheese and garnished with walnuts, thyme and honey. Perfect starter and a feast for the eyes.

Number of persons: 6 / Preparation time 30 min.


Ingredients:


6 slices of puff pastry

6 slices of Parma ham

3 Sweet Pears

120 gr. Gorgonzola Cheese

1 tbsp. Butter

3 tbsp. Honey

Fresh Thyme

Walnuts

Muffin tin (6)


Preparation:


Preheat the oven to 210 degrees. Grease a muffin tin with butter. Take a sheet of puff pastry and place it in each mold, press it down so that a bowl is created. Cut the Parma ham into strips and drape it on the puff pastry. Halve the pears and remove the core. Then cut the pears into "very" thin slices and place them in each corner of the puff pastry. Now place the muffin tin in the oven for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, take the muffin tin out of the oven and place 20 grams of Gorgonzola cheese in each mold. Put the muffin tin back in the oven for 5 minutes to let the cheese melt nicely.


Now remove the muffin form from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Then carefully loosen the puff pastry tart from the muffin form. Place the tart on a nice plate and sprinkle it with crushed walnuts or a whole walnut, fresh thyme and honey.
